Maple Grove Cemetery sits on a small rise and has seen much vandalism over the years with many of the stones broken and scattered.  Of the 318 stones legible in 1980 when David and Diane Savage walked through this cemetery, the oldest was that of Marion E. V. Reed who died in 1832.  The most recent was that of Etta Taylor who died in 1952.
